Desert Wind is the preeminent destination winery in the Yakima Valley perched on a bluff overlooking the Yakima River. With a warm, southwest-inspired ambiance, Desert Wind features adobe walls, cobblestone patios, well-appointed event spaces and lodging to create an unforgettable experience.
Banquet Room
Our large banquet room is the perfect blank canvas for receptions, retirement parties, and other celebrations of up to 125 people. This space also can host a live band or DJ and a dance floor, and has two sets of double doors opening up to our back patio that overlooks the Yakima River.
Yakima River Patio
Our cobblestone patio hosts up to 125 guests overlooking the meandering Yakima River and gorgeous valley sunsets. Accented with string lights to set the scene, the patio also features a fire pit, view of estate-grown vines, and provides a picturesque setting for daytime festivities, and outdoor dining. Patio heaters and umbrellas available as needed.

Barrel Room
Our inviting Barrel Room is a restaurant space that can host private affairs such as rehearsal dinners, receptions, and other celebrations of up to 60 people. The Barrel Room is surrounded by rich oak wine barrels and string lights overhead for ambiance.
