Desert Wind was founded in 2003 as a Washington wine brand with a legacy rooted in crafting generous, fruit-forward wines from our estate vineyards. Our sustainably farmed vineyards across the Columbia Valley provide the foundation for wines that balance Washington’s natural ripeness with structure, approachability, and a sense of place.Now owned by the Lawrence family, our focus remains simple: to honor the heritage of Desert Wind while offering well‑crafted, enjoyable Washington wines for everyday moments and special occasions alike. Desert Wind wines are available at Gard Estate Wines & Inn in Prosser - the Lawrence family's flagship brand and former location of the Desert Wind tasting room - as well as online and in select retail markets and restaurants across the country.
